Born in 1987, Florian grew up in the Franconian countryside. In 2012 he graduated from University of Bayreuth in Theater and Media Studies and 2018 in Feature Film Directing from University of Television and Film Munich. During that time he became part of the performance group KAPITÆL ZWEI KOLEKTIF and started his collaboration with theatre director Ersan Mondtag. In 2015 he was chosen to participate at the MEXICAN FILM RESIDENCY in Tepoztlán to work on his thesis and first feature film PAMPARIOS which went on to premiere at VISIONS DU RÈEL in 2018. In 2019 he started working with theatre director Ulrich Rasche. Florian currently lives in Berlin and is working on a series and a feature film project both of which are set in the Berlin squatting scene right after the fall of the wall.
